Semi Truck Accidents Certified Lawyer JAY VAUGHN
We’re excited to announce that our own Jay Vaughn is one of the first attorneys to be Board Certified in Truck Accident Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
This certification is the first and only American Bar Association accreditation for Truck Accident Law in the country. Jay is one of only nine attorneys to hold this recognition.
“While many lawyers advertise that they handle truck accident cases, only Board Certified attorneys pass a comprehensive six-hour written an exam, prove that a substantial percentage of their practice is dedicated to trucking litigation, undergo a stringent background vetting process, and show hands-on experience in multiple truck accident cases.
The first Board Certified attorneys are members of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA), a more than 500 member non-profit organization promoting accountability and safety in the trucking industry.”
"Make no mistake about it," says ATAA co-founder and Atlanta-based Truck Accident Attorney Joe Fried. "Who you choose as the lawyer to handle a serious truck crash case is very important. Not all lawyers get the same results. Not even close. Not everyone who advertises or says that they have experience handling truck crash cases is the real deal. When you choose an NBTA Certified Truck Crash Lawyer, you can rest assured that the lawyer has been independently vetted for experience and results and independently tested for knowledge and competence."
ATAA co-founder Michael Leizerman, an Ohio-based truck accident attorney, adds, "It's very difficult for a person to get their bearings and even think about things like securing evidence and taking steps to protect their family when their spouse, parent or child is killed in a truck crash. Choosing a lawyer who is a board-certified specialist in Truck Accident Law helps victims of truck wrecks ensure that the lawyer they hire has the experience and knowledge to best represent their interests. A board-certified lawyer helps the family members know that their interests are being protected while they grieve or, in injury cases, while the injured person works on healing, to the extent possible."
Congratulations Jay, we’re so proud to have you on our team!
